Our Story

We are a registered NGO working towards welfare of dogs. We started small with just feeding a few strays, but looking at the plight of these voiceless souls, we decided to formally set up Hope for Indies. Our mission is that no animal should ever sleep hungry. 

We currently take care of more than 250 stray dogs and support their daily two meals and medical care. We, with the help of our donors, also run regular sterilization drives around Mumbai South and Central area.

Our monthly expenses are Rs. 120,000+ and we have been shouldering a significant amount of the cost to feed and provide medical care (medical fosters, vet bills, ambulance support etc.) with our own personal funds. However, we are now struggling to continue our efforts due to lack of funds. 

We urgently need support to continue taking care of the helpless dogs and would request you to please donate towards it. 

All donations are tax exempted under 80G of the Income Tax Act (India) and 501 (c)(3) of the International Revenue Code.
